The King Blues are up for Radio 1’s best Live Lounge of 2009. Fearne Cotton’s will play their session, recorded earlier this year, on her show next week. Listen out for the guys next week and make sure you give them your vote! That punktastic cover version of ‘Bonkers’ alone should seal the deal.

The guys play their last gig of 2009 at The Courthouse in Barnsley on Friday 4th Dec. Entry is free, and licquor, they tell, us, is credit-crunchingly cheap. Bonus.

Ok, so dates for 2010 are popping up all over the place and lots of them look like seriously good fun. Pick of the lot so far, though, must surely be this tour: the first Rebel Alliance UK tour.
Yes, yes, yes. Featured acts are Random Hand, Mouthwash, the Skints and new signing Chris Murray. Yes, THE Chris Murray. So new a signing, that my third search result still shows him as being on Moon Ska World. Look.
